Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York in the U.S.A. was an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable characters. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father, Romulus Linney being a playwright. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. She was in New York City when she began her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
